The desing for the new 810XL is based on the original 810, built in 1984. There have been a few updates made, but the original workings that made the first 810 great are still there, such as the internally sealed enclosures for each pair of 10" drivers. Wait until you see what they made better, though.
Feature:
Only has a 1/4" input. Would be nice to have speakon input and biampable but still awesome.
Quality:
very sturdy and lighter than the ampeg! No more hernias!

I can't believe how much cheaper these are than the competition.

Went from an Ampeg 810e and actually did a shootout with the 2 side by side. The Ampeg is a lot deeper, warmer sounding where the Hartke is clearer and punchier. I liked the Hartke better.
