The buzzing began after a few weeks. After a couple of months it becam unplayable at anything more than 1/3 volume. I replaced the speaker with a Hartke 8 Ohm 10" Alumininium speaker but the buzzing and distortion continued, meaning the electronics were at fault.

I was told I must have been playing at full volume and that is what caused it. Not rue- I play in a prayer group at about 1/3-1/2 volume.
